On private property along the Pitt River in Pitt Meadows BC Zoey and Ryan said I do. Their beautiful summer elopement gave me all the feels! It was super simple, with just a handful of close friends and family, it truly touched my heart.
Amid a pandemic, these two just wanted to be married. They reached out to a fellow vendor friend of mine and asked if they could use the property to share their vows with one another. The day could not have been more perfect.
Ryan and Zoey are truly best friends. I could tell from the moment I met them, that their bond was special. They both had tears in their eyes when they saw each other for the first time, and I don’t think they ever let go of one another hands the rest of the day.
Their ceremony site was set on a small little jetty that was surrounded by a beautiful pond. With the most GORGEOUS floral + wood arch created by Rosewood Event Design.
After their ceremony, they cut some cake, had sparkling wine and celebrated with their family. SUCH A FUN GROUP OF PEOPLE! Oh my gosh, they truly had so much love for this union. It really touched my heart how close these two are with their friends and family. This is why I love elopements so much, they are so focused on the love, the people who are in attendance, and just simply celebrating!
The property they eloped on is full of animals and gorgeous views! We fed some sheep and played around in the fields. Zoey was not afraid of getting her dress dirty, so we ran around and had so much fun!
The wedding venue was located right along the Pitt River, so after spending some time on the property, we took a quick walk down to the river. We had the most amazing cloudy warm day, and it truly turned out so BEAUTIFUL!!!!!
