Hopcott Farms Weddings | The Ultimate Modern Rustic Wedding Venue

Welcome to Hopcott Farms, a wedding venue located in beautiful Pitt Meadows B.C.

If you’re looking for a country wedding venue, you have found the perfect spot!

The Hopcott Family have been serving the Fraser Valley community since they purchased the farm in 1932. Over the years, the family expanded from dairy farming to cranberry fields, the Meadows Maze – a popular tourist destination – and a full-service grocery store and bistro.

In 2018, the family opened up their iconic Red Barn with its stunning backdrop of cornfields and mountains to host weddings!

An Exclusive Country Wedding Experience

Hopcott Farms provides an exclusive experience for couples. Hosting only 1 wedding per weekend from June through to September, you’ll have access to the 75-acre property for 3 days.

You can plan to have your rehearsal the day before, with a Hopcott Meats BBQ package for your rehearsal dinner if that’s your style.

You and up to 150 guests will party until midnight on the day, and you don’t have to worry about cleaning up at the end of the night, as you have until 5:00 pm the following day to do that.

There is no need to rush… you will enjoy every magical moment!

The Bridal Suite

Have a look at the beautiful change room for you to prepare for your big reveal!

Your wedding day will start with the use of their large Bridal Suite. Play some music and sip champagne with your wedding party or close family while you get prepared for your day. This space has 3 make-up stations, lots of natural light, high ceilings, and enough mirrors to keep anyone happy!

Country Wedding Ceremony

Outside the suite is a short walk to your ceremony space, located just outside the Red Barn.

You’ll make your ceremony entrance through the towering barn doors that are attached to posts and kept closed until the big reveal.

They are absolutely gorgeous! Tucked away in the barn for the season, catch a peek in the video tour!

Featuring 3 rustic wooden arches, during the summer months your Hopcott Farms Wedding will have high cornstalks as your backdrop.

Use the arches on the property or other arches that your hosts supply. Or, you can use your imagination to come up with something stunning… and if you need any help, your hosts can provide a variety of unique and vintage decorations, partitions, and props.

The venue has a fail-safe weather backup plan, so rest assured you won’t be “left out in the rain.” Marquee tents will be set up and you’ll be nice and dry!

The Big Red Barn

After the ceremony, your guests will head over to the big red barn for cocktail hour!

With wrap-around garage doors, it feels like an outdoor space. The barn inside has beautiful chandeliers lining the ceilings, with big open spaces for guest tables, and a big dance floor.

This fun reception venue even overflows into the bar/cocktail area at the back!

The red barn has space for up to 150 guests. Tables and chairs for the barn are available, as well as tables for a buffet, gifts and dessert, a sound system, and use of the bar.

Caterers have access to a prep area with everything required including refrigerators.

However, Hopcott Farms do provide catering services. After all, they are a working farm and grocery store!

The Rustic Outdoor Bar

The outdoor bar is set up with a fridge, freezer, and a sink with running water, perfect for hosting a full-service bar.

Hopcott Farms is such a FUN wedding venue!

The rest of the property is full of fun things for your guests to do! A big slide, a rocking chair porch (as a West Coast Wedding Photographer, I LOVE this for fun photos), a popcorn machine, and lawn games for your guests to have fun with while you head off for your country wedding photos. All conveniently set up near the bar.
