The location we chose for this Vancouver Island Elopement is the charming, Jordan River. A coastal town on Vancouver Island, offers the ideal backdrop for couples seeking a secluded and steamy elopement experience. It’s also close by to national parks like Juan De Fuca Provincial Park, and Port Hardy.
Booking 3-4 nights into this Cabin gives the two of you a day ahead of your elopement to relax and explore the area. It also gives me (your photographer) a chance to pop in and explore with you two!
We are going for a two day steamy elopement, one day being dedicated to you getting married, and the second day to getting steamy. I often suggest separating these two because then you truly have no rush on either day, and can explore with out checking your watch. The first day of your Vancouver Island elopement i’m going to come to the cabin around lunch time, and the two of you are going to start getting ready together. Music, drinks, and laughter just prepping for your ceremony. There is no rush, we head to the beach whenever you two are ready to go. We will of course meet your officiant (if you’re choosing a legal ceremony) at our first location which is going to be Botanical Beach.
**You could also choose to do your ceremony on the property within the trees, then head to the beach for photos and exploring**

Vancouver Island Elopement
After your ceremony, and exploring this park, we’ll embark on a short road trip to explore the nearby wonders of Mystic Beach and Sombrio Beach. There is this incredible waterfall, and the most captivating caves to explore and capture breathtaking photos against the backdrop of towering cliffs and pristine coastline.

As the sun begins to set, return to your secluded cabin for a candlelit dinner for two. This could be ordered from a local restaurant, or hire a private chef to come and cook for the two of you. I also love the idea of taking evening photos around the property before I leave to my own cabin for the night, and leave you two to celebrate the rest of the evening together. Maybe even fire up the hot tub.
The next day is all dedicated to getting steamy! I’ll come back around lunch time, and we’ll spend the afternoon exploring all the beautiful spaces inside the cabin. There is this incredible soak tub next to two huge windows that overlook the forest, and would make the perfect setting for part of your session. The cabin itself has incredible spaces throughout as well. Then heading out to the hot tub, and running naked through the forest to end your day off. I recommend staying at the cabin, so you can just relax and enjoy the day! Once this portion of the weekend is done, I will head back home, and leave you both to enjoy the rest of your getaway alone.
After a few days of blissful seclusion in Jordan River, venture to the vibrant city of Victoria to continue your adventure. Explore the historic streets, sample local cuisine, and immerse yourselves in the rich culture and charm of British Columbia’s capital city.
