I started a series over on TikTok, where I plan out your Vancouver couples boudoir session based on a location. So we started off strong with this beautiful private airbnb located about 60 minutes south of Vancouver. It’s a one-bedroom suite that has incredible natural light, and I immediately thought how perfect this would be for an at-home paint party. Just imagine having a piece of art that you created with your bodies hung up on the wall of your home. Mixed in with images that bring you back to the creation of that art.
The space has this large living room with a big window; you can push all the furniture out and lay out a roll of paper in the middle of the room or set up a canvas on an easel. Music blaring, cuddling in your undies, champagne maybe, and ending your session with a hot shower together. I’ve got a mood board below to give you an idea of what I’m thinking.

If you aren’t familiar with a steamy session (intimate couples session), It’s a no-rules photoshoot for you and your partner. It is a chance for you two to use the ART of the photographer to connect in a deeper way. Your shoot is 2-3 hours, you pick the location, although you can book this exact shoot the way it’s set up, I take care of almost all the details, so all you have to do is focus on your partner, and show up as you are. I set up a coaching call prior to your session for us to plan out the details, talk about what you wan to do, what your comfortable with, and of course any questions you have.
One of the most common questions I get asked is WHAT DO WE WEAR? To which I usually reply nothing else is needed. At least one of your “outfit” options should be your birthday suit; I highly recommend coming to your session in an outfit that feels most like you and something you can move comfortably in. Also, bring some form of underwear, lingerie, loungewear, or anything along those lines. My favourite spot to check out is Forever Yours Lingerie. They have a huge selection of options for ANY gender.
I’ve done a few shoots at this stunning location The Oak Suite. It’s very versatile; furniture can be moved, and we even moved the bed to the double French doors. The sun pours in around golden hour, and you can choose to spend the night(for an additional charge).
