I’ve had the absolute pleasure of creating ART with these two for many years. They modelled for me when I first began my business, and this recent shoot is truly some of our best work yet. Colton reached out to me inquiring about booking a steamy session for his wife Nikki’s Birthday. He had booked a beautiful little cabin and knew not only would it be a great spot for their session, but he knew how much Nikki loved this experience.

When we began planning this couples boudoir style session, having complete privacy so they could explore the outdoors was key. The cabin was perfect for this; it was very secluded on the property, with no one in sight. The space was intimate, but great windows and lots of outdoor space gave us the opportunity to get creative. The rental had a cedar-style hot tub, an outdoor shower and a fire pit, which we took full advantage of. I often travel with a small spot light, and for shooting at night, it added a incredible source of texture to all the images, especially when it came to the outdoor show (they’re at the end too). I’m so fucking proud of this work, and the experience that Nikki and Colten got to have together. They spent 3 days on Vancouver Island, cozied up in this Airbnb, and I simply visited them for a few hours on the Saturday afternoon.
