date night ideas

Helpful Tips, Steamy

It’s Fall… kinda? A few of my favourite fall date spots!

Welcome to fall… ish.. I know it may still be 25 out, but the colours are changing around us, and all the fall activities are here! It’s a slower time of year, when you can really take the time to spend together.

But what the heck should we do Megan?

I got you!!! From the Fraser valley all the way into Vancouver, here are a few things you can do together!

1 – Hit up a local Brewery for new fall flavours and fire pits! I’m a HUGE fan of rotating taps, it gets me excited to head into a place and know there is new things to try!

Abbotsford Breweries

Ravens Brewing Company

Old Abbey Ales

Field House Brewing

OR, if you head into Port Moody, you can do a brewery walk along the river

Yellow Dog Brewing

The Parkside Brewing

Twin Sails Brewing

Bakery Brewing

2- Enjoy cider and goats….

Have you ever had the opportunity to sip cider and pet goats? Taves Family Farms is located in Abbotsford, and you can visit their farm, grab a flight of ciders and other drinks and spend your afternoon petting goats and enjoying the fall sunshine. They even have fire pits to enjoy. The farm is home to many other animals, corn mazes, pumpkins, all the fun stuff.

3- Twighlidte Drive in

Cozy up in your vehicle and enjoy a halloween movie, popcorn. Located in Langley it’s a really fun spot to check out!

4- Rent an Airbnb in a neighbouring city.

Even if it’s a 20 minute drive, have a look and find a space that suits your vibe, book it and spend the weekend exploring a new city. I know my partner and I often get tired of the same places around our city, so this is a fun opportunity to explore somewhere new!

5 – The Bog Langley

I recently heard (via social media) of a farm in Langley where you can throw on a pair of waiters and explore a cranberry bog! It’s a cool experience that I don’t think many of us get to do! They also have a farm store and food on site too!

6 – Abbotsford Canucks game

Did you know we have a local team now? Tickets are around $25 and it’s a lot of fun to check out a game! They play at the Abbotsford Entertainment centre, and they have lots of different dates for games over the fall/winter!

I live in the Fraser Valley, and I often follow Tourism Abbotsford for more date ideas !!

I believe everyone deserves to be free and comfortable to be themselves unapologetically.
I support all types of love, genders and colors. This is a safe and open place to create.
